The Dark Ages- Who Turned the Lights Out?
Starting with ancient Rome and its conquest of Europe and Great Britain, Maid Martha brings alive the Dark Ages, Beowulf, the legend of King Arthur, Robin Hood, Charlemagne, the Plague, the Crusades and much more.

Workshop II
Live From the Middle Ages
Beginning with the Crusaders’ raid on Cordova, Maid Martha brings alive Marco Polo, Chaucer, daily life in the Middle Ages, the Plague and much more. This workshop ends with Henry VIII’s reign and death and Martha’s heart racing story “The Ghost of Hampton Court”.

Workshop III
From Tudors & Fleas to ‘To Be or Not To Be’
From Henry VIII and the Tudor Reign and “The Ghost of Hampton Court”, Maid Martha brings alive Shakespeare, the Spanish Armada, the Plague and daily life and beliefs during the Elizabethan Age and Renaissance.

Workshop Length & Suggested Grade Level
1 hour each. Can be combined for a 3 hour workshop. Excellent for Fifth - Senior High and Educators Staff Development.
